Grand Forks
Maple View Grand Forks was established in 2009. We are an independently owned and operated organization. Our community features a residential setting that feels like a private home with lots of natural light and a soothing color palette.
Meet The Staff

Jess
lpn, assistant health & wellness manager
Having a strong family history of dementia and Alzheimers, memory care was very near and dear to Jess’ heart. After graduating college feeling unsure about what area of nursing to pursue, she began working at a cardiology clinic during the week, and a nursing home on the weekends. The elderly held a special place in her heart, which made her decision to pursue nursing in Long Term Care an easy one.
“I love this field and the relationships that I have formed, not just with residents but with their families as well. I enjoy hearing resident stories and being able to make a difference in people’s lives.”
When not at work, Jess loves spending time with family and being outside. She and her husband have two boys and a puppy.
Jess received her LPN license from Northland Community and Technical College.

Gwen
resident service manager
After graduating high school, Gwen started her career in retail and worked as a retail store manager for 27 years. Her love of working with people and making a difference in their lives ultimately led her to join Maple View as Resident Service Manager.
“What I enjoy most about this field is the connection I have made with peers, residents, and their families.”
Outside of work, Gwen loves to explore new places, walking and hiking. She has a daughter who is almost 18 and ready to start life out on her own!

Becky
kitchen supervisor
At 16, Becky got a job in the dietary department of a nursing home. From there, she worked as a Dietary Aide for over 10 years and was eventually promoted to Dietary Supervisor.
“I love to help people and spend time getting to know the residents.”
Outside of work, Becky enjoys spending time with her family and going to the lake during the summer months. She and her husband have been married for over 10 years, and together have six children, one cat and one dog.

Sam
Activity coordinator
After being a nanny for 14 years, Sam wanted something different. She thought working in activities with the elderly would be a great career.
“I enjoy being with the residents and the smiles we put on their faces when doing activities.”
Outside of work, Sam loves to hang out with her husband and kids; they often go to different zoos and concerts. She also enjoys her sleep!
