Minot

Maple View Minot was established in July 2012. We are an independently owned and operated organization. Our community features a residential setting that feels like a private home with lots of natural light and a soothing color palette.

Our residents can easily navigate our open floor plan, enjoy the sunroom and spend time in our courtyard. Our compassionate and trained staff are here to help provide the resident with the ability to reach their maximum level of independence.

Meet The Staff

Kelly

Director

Kelly worked in healthcare since she was 16, specifically in physical therapy and DME fields. She was drawn to memory care from her love of the elderly and what we can learn from them.

“What I enjoy most about this field is that each day is new and rewarding with Dementia. They bring us joy every day.”

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys time at the lake with family and friends. She has been married for 31 years and has two children and one granddaughter.

Kelly’s educational background includes CNA.

Penny

Activity  coordinator

After working as a hairstylist and in assisted living as a housekeeper, Penny was looking for a change, which ultimately led her to Maple View (although she still is a hairdresser, too!)

“I tell people I get paid to have fun as an activity coordinator and love my residents.”

When not at work, Penny enjoys spending time with family. Family is so important to her as she lost her son David. She loves spending time with her 2 daughters and 8 grandbabies.

Alexis

rn,  don

Alexis worked as a medical surgical nurse and charge nurse prior to being introduced to Maple View. After doing a little research, she decided to take the opportunity to enter into a new specialty, and she is so glad she did!

“What I enjoy most is providing residents with a safe, comforting environment that allows them to thrive. and be as independent as possible. I like providing specialized care and working one on one with the providers to give the best care possible. It’s so fun to interact with the residents and learn new things about them on a daily basis.” – Alexis

When not at work, Alexis likes to spend time with friends and family. They like to go camping (in warm weather) and do indoor activities in the winter.

Alexis graduated from Dakota College of Bottineau with her Associate’s Degree in Science. She is also a Registered Nurse.
